The demand for safety compliance statements for exhaust gas measurement is being demanded more and more, and is an increasingly important topic within the industry. Safety has always been a significant factor in LAMTEC’s philosophy and product portfolio. LAMTEC’s LT3-F combustion analyser when combined with the KS1D in-situ flue gas probe for O2 & COe measurement and a LAMTEC Burner Management System (FMS, ETAMATIC, BT300 and the newly introduced CMS) is both failsafe according to DIN EN 12067-2 and achieves SIL 2, DIN EN 61508.

LAMTEC now also has a SIL compliant solution for ‘standalone’ measurement without connection to LAMTEC Burner Management Systems. The functional principle of the LS1 oxygen probe with a linear response characteristic and single point calibration with ambient air, which has proven itself over many years, has been subjected to a detailed analysis in accordance with DIN EN 61508 together with the LT1 analyser. In the fully automatic version with adjustment unit 657R0800 we can confirm SIL 1 level for the LS1 probe with the LT1 analyser. Both the 4-20 mA O2 analog value output and the optional limit values integrated in the device via relay contacts are considered as safety functions. For different fuels, different lifetime assumptions apply to the probes.

We will be happy to send you the safety manual on request.

The evaluation of the SIL suitability was accompanied and tested by an independent specialist company, which has proven expertise in the field of reliability analysis of electronic modules and devices for many years.

Our sales department will be happy to answer your questions: sales(at)lamtec.de or by phone +49 (0) 6227 6052-88.

LAMTEC supported Turkish partner HAZ Muhendislik LTD STI at ISK-SODEX Istanbul 2018. The exhibition attracted the highest international attendance ever, with nearly 85,000 visitors from 105 countries.

Our team at ISK-SODEX was able to promote LAMTEC’s technical innovations, quality and how LAMTEC products can improve efficiency. LAMTEC’s new CMS Combustion Management System and the LAMTEC pilot burner series were the main focus of the interest for visitors to the LAMTEC stand.

We would like to thank all visitors to the LAMTEC stand for their interest and attention and look forward to the ISK-SODEX 2019. This will then take place again in Istanbul from 2nd-5th October 2019 at the TUYAP Exhibition and Congress Center.
