On Friday 21st July 2017 LAMTEC and our Indonesian sales partner PTPGS co-hosted a seminar at the Hotel Ciputra in Jakarta to introduce both company’s’ product ranges. More than 50 delegates from a broad range of industries including oil & gas, boilermakers and process manufacturing were in attendance to find out more about LAMTEC and PTPGS products and service offerings.
Mick Barstow, LAMTEC’s Export Business Development Manager, and Robin Leong, LAMTEC SOA’s Regional Manager delivered a series of presentations and product demonstrations to an attentive audience. There was also a questions and answers session and the opportunity for delegates to get ‘hands-on’ experience. Demo versions of the F200K & F300K flame scanners and an LT2 analyser with LAMTEC’s unique KS1D combination O2/COe in-situ zirconia based probe were on display.

The Portable Adjustment Unit – for the adjustment of all O2, COe as well as O2/COe probes in the standard, HT, and K-type housings
LAMTEC has been developing and selling sensors and systems for combustion technology for over 20 years. The LAMTEC product range in the field of sensors and measuring systems will now be enhanced by the addition of the ‘Portable Adjustment Unit’.
Our sensors and sensor systems have a reputation for easy commissioning in ambient air thanks to a ‘plug & play’ approach. No further action or effort is required to ensure readiness for measurement. However, in order to verify probe functionality and increase the measuring accuracy for demanding measuring tasks, we recommend the calibration of our probes.
The new Portable Adjustment Unit is a kit that has everything required for the complete calibration of our probes. The Portable Adjustment Unit includes up to three calibration gas bottles with certified gas mixtures, a flow regulator with test gas hose and adapters for all our measuring systems - all supplied in one custom carry case. The Portable Adjustment Unit is small, light, and so suitable for service and maintenance work in difficult-to-access areas.

 Technical Modification of the KS1D Probe in Ex Housing
For technical reasons the previous probe for explosive hazardous areas type 656R2020 (KS1D in Ex housing, 2 m connecting cable, Ex II 2G Ex d IIB+H1 T4) is no longer available. The probe is replaced by the new type 656R2021 (KS1D in Ex housing, 2 m connecting cable, Ex II 2G Ex d IIB+H2 T3). Note the technical modifications below:
